This apartment was a run down 2 storey penthouse.

The client required a complete redesign of this unit, including the relocation of the kitchen and laundry to completely different positions, and reconfiguration of the 3 bathrooms, additional kitchen upstairs, and the office, which led to numerous complications. However Phillip Hawksley came up with a design concept that achieved everything required. His motto "every problem has a solution" certainly came to the fore.

Nothing was insurmountable aside from the clients continual desire to achieve more than what the budget allowed. But Phillip Hawksley was always able to come up with prudent solutions while making allowance for the restricted budget.
